Partnerships
Jonas Bronck Academy enjoys partnerships with a multitude of respected organizations within the community:
Learning Through an Expanded Arts Program LeAp is the community based organization we have partnered with to provide our scholars extra curricular activities during after school hours.
Activities offered consist of, but are not limited, to cooking, graphic design, theater, dance and mask making. We also have partnered up with them to provide in-class extension in literacy and science for the 6th grade.
Urban Advantage provides our science teachers with professional development that supports their ability to increase inquiry in the sciences. As well as resources and access to the cities museums, aquarium, botanical gardens and zoos
Fordham University partnership provides Social Work Interns to grow in their craft by working with our scholars so that more scholars get the personalized attention as they transition through the different phases of adolescent development.
GearUp provides college workshops to our scholars and families as well as Saturday and summer enrichment opportunities.
Partnering with Row New York and CitySquash helps our scholars bridge athletics and academics
College Now through Lehman College will provide our high school students with college course for free.
